I have flash the bios, install new and old drivers, driver clean up, manually deleted files, safe mode driver installation and the list go on and on... View Related Posts . . The problem was that the 2d clock speeds were too low when the card ran in low power mode. Didn't work, during these first tries the only time it ever artifacted and fucked up was in normal windows, before windows or in safe mode it did not have any problems. The only way out of this BSOD was to log in in safe mode and delete that .sys file or add a .old at the end of it. If I install the driver supporting GTX 470, BSOD occurs...so I have to install the driver not supporting GTX 470, so that I can login in windows 7. In a dusty room like mine the minimum maintenance frequency would be once per month. I took the card apart and looks like it has been in a watercooling accident.... One last idea, take your GPU out, put it in the freezer for about 5 mins, take out, reinsert into computer, boot up.
